Bledsoe County Youth Soccer Association is a rec league soccer team for those wanting a fun way to learn the sport while being competitive with other rec leagues. We offer soccer from 4 years old up to 18 years of age.
There are 6 age divisions. U6 (under 6 years of age), U8, U10, U12, U14, and U19 (including 18 year olds who are not attending college).
Games will either be hosted at our fields or we will travel to another team’s fields. All games will be within 2 hours travel distance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Bledsoe County Youth Soccer Association is a non-profit recreational soccer league for ages 4 – 18, focusing on fun, skill development, and teamwork.
Anyone between the ages of 4 and 18 (turns 19 after August of the year playing)!
All skill levels are welcome here! We are developing skills and teamwork for all kids on the team.
U6 (Under 6 years of age), U8, U10, U12, U14, and U19. Each child is sorted into their age group by their birthday. If they turn the age of their group before August, they are moved up to the next age division.
In the Spring season, practices begin in February. Games begin mid-March and continue until early May. For the Fall season, practices begin in August. Games begin in September and continue until early November or late October.
Twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays, lasting an hour. Practices are at the home field.
Typically 8 games, although weather may end up cancelling some. Holidays like Easter and some of the breaks do not have games, but coaches will communicate the schedule to parents at the beginning of the season.
Absolutely! We encourage families to come and watch their children and cheer on the team! All we ask is that everybody be respectful to the other team and to only encourage them, and to not engage with the referee.
Cleats (not football ones), and shin guards. The jersey and socks are included in registration.
The coaches are volunteers from our community. We follow the National Soccer Association’s guidelines for coaches and training.
