U8 is for kids with a birthday August 1st, 2018 – July 31st, 2020 (8 and under). Circumstances may move up players eligible for a younger age group with a parent’s and coach’s approval.
Equipment Needed
- Cleats
- Shinguards
- Water Bottle
- Inhaler (if needed)
- Medication (if needed)
- Ball Size 3 (optional)
Rules
- Throw in the ball when it goes out on the sidelines.
- Cornerkicks (for team farther away) and Goal kicks (for team closest) when it goes out on the end lines.
- Back to half for goal kicks.
- Kids are not to be in the goal area defending for more than 6 seconds.
- Don’t touch the ball with your hands.
- 4 kids are played at a time.
- No heading.
- No sliding.
- No jewelry allowed
